The Rhythmic Goddess 2008 (3 month Training)
The Rhythmic Goddess 2008 was developed as a way for women to remember some of the ancient traditions associated with the goddess through ritual and rhythm. This series was led by Shelli Suzanne, Helen Holifield and Linda Metzner. We created as sacred space for the contempory goddess exploring her life and connections through the elements, chakras, chant, ritual and keeping the pulse of life flowing through the frame drum. October brought us the consciousnes of Hathor:Joy, sensuality, love, music, dance, and beauty. November brought us the consciousness of Demeter: Nurturing, feeling your bounty and feminine gifts, reclaming of your appetite, sexuality and desires. December (Solstice Celebration) brought us the consciousness of Cybele:: Goddess of resurrection and inner renewal. Self Esteem, Confidence, Power.

By embracing our Body, Mind, Spirit and Emotions we sculpted each evening to enhance and deepen the evenings focus. Sowing your Seeds for April, Nurturing Creativiy in June, Emboding Abundance in August and Deepening your Desires was in December. We used movement and magic as a way to explore our energetic pathways. How does one Create, Accept and step into the Universal Dance? Why ofcourse it is by doing A bun Dance!!!

4-22-08 Time For Our Power (Asheville, NC) Womens Conference
Time for Our PowerIt was an incredible honor to be around so many inpirational and powerful women. Some of my highlights were hearing speakers like Jane Fonda, Julia ButterflyHil, Star Hawk, Grandmother Red Leaf and the poeticly powerful words of Glenis Redmond.

The two break out sessions I offered on Sensational You: Power of Movement where filled with women ready to explore with me our sense. Together we explored our what connect us to our inner and outer world, and movement that connect us to our senses. We joyfully explore the relationship between the two as a way of becoming more alert, alive and aware. "When we let our bodies flow, our sensational selves will glow!"
If you were able to visit the Red Tent you will know what I mean when I say, "It was awsome."
